Epp Sonin, a long-time patron of the Arvo Pärt Centre, was awarded the title Friend of Culture

Hearty congratulations from the Arvo Pärt Centre to our long-time patron Epp Sonin who was awarded the title Friend of Culture 2023.

Thanks to her earlier donations, we have been able to expand out permanent exhibition with a glass display containing the composer’s original manuscripts, musical schemata, and other archive documents. In 2023, Epp Sonin’s support allowed the centre to enrich the programme we offer our visitors, making it more varied and engaging.

The Estonian Ministry of Culture presented the Friend of Culture 2023 awards on 15 February 2024. The awards have been issued since 2011 in recognition of people and companies contributing to the various fields of culture with their finances or activities.
