The debut album of violinist Hans Christian Aavik and pianist Karolina Zhukova is like a long journey, and all of us are invited to travel along. The musicians want to share thoughts, eternal themes and values with the listener. On this journey meet life and death, beauty and pain, faith, hope and love. At the same time, all of it reflects only a single moment in time: that is how the two young musicians interpret the works of Bach, Schubert and Pärt today. Tomorrow or the day after, their interpretation would sound completely different.
