Description
Young and charismatic conductor Karol Kisiel from Poland together with Maria Pomianowska and a vocal octet will introduce a program consisting of new pieces for suka biłgorajska and voices commissioned from renown composers from Poland, Latvia and Serbia. Suka biłgorajska is a traditional Polish folk instrument which has quite recently been restored and thanks to Maria Pomianowska appears to be more and more present on concert venues around the world. The new compositions will be the first contemporary pieces written for suka biłgorajska and with the new program, the performers aim to discover new sonorities and technical possibilities of the instrument.
